This tour
will be a wonderful experience to the land of Mariachi. During
this tour we will visit Tepic, Tequila Town, Guadalajara,
Tlaquepaque, Tonala and
Magdalena.
ITINERARY: DAY 01 - PUERTO VALLARTA - TEPIC - TEQUILA -
GUADALAJARA 6:00 a.m. Departure
time toward Tepic, Nayarit. Tepic is the capital of Nayarit State
where we will visit:
The Cathedral
of Purísima Concepción de Maria, built in the 18th century, with a
neo-Gothic portal and towers of three bodies.We will continue to Tequila Town in the State of Jalisco
where we will visit one of the many Tequila Factories that exist in
the area. This town main industry is the distilleries of this well
world known Mexican drink.
After the visit to Cofraditas distillery we will continue to
Guadalajara, the second largest city in the Mexican Republic and one of
the most gorgeous places in the country with its majestic old buildings
as well as the culture and the history the area
has.
DAY 02 - GUADALAJARA - TLAQUEPAQUE - TONALA -
GUADALAJARA 9:00 a.m. City tour in Guadalajara to visit the
Majestic "Degollado Theater", Hospicio Cabanas Building and The
Grandiose Cathedral of Guadalajara built in 1571 the cathedral was
rebuilt during the early part of the 19th century after being destroyed
during an earthquak
Inside the
cathedral are figures of many saints, eleven alters Outside the
cathedral are stands filled with rosaries, figures of saints, prayer
cards and you can even buy "milagros". These small trinkets are made
in the shape of body parts or animals. a visit to Centro Historico
will be posted in our itinerary. We will continue our tour to
famous Tlaquepaque located 30 minutes from Guadalajara. Time for
lunch (optional) in this colorful place where are wonderful
restaurant where to taste the real Mexico. Tlaquepaque is very
famous for all hand art is made, reason to be visited for people
from all over the
world.

Art and Craft, see and find a whole town hand making colorful craft,
this is a hard place to describe, be very happy and enthusiastic to
visit such a beautiful and interesting place, thousand of tons of
fantastic hand craft are exported from Tonala to all over the world.
Come and see why this is a lovely zone of Mexico.

recommend you to have dinner in La Feria Restaurant near our hotel where
a fantastic Mexican Show will be
posted.
DAY 03 - GUADALAJARA - IXTLAN DEL
RIO - LOS TORILES - JALA - PUERTO VALLARTA 9:00 a.m.
Departing from beautiful Guadalajara to Ixtlan del Rio where from an
Image of Christ the king dominates the city. We will visit the
archeological zone of "Los Toriles", that during the periods know as
"Las Tumbas de Tiro" reached its zenith between the years 600 and
1050 A.D. The Temple of Ehecatl-Quetzacoatl its outstanding.
Then we will go to Jala Village which is an attractive and
picturesque town of cobblestone streets; a place of indigenous roots
and conserves traditions. Here, one may observe and admire
constructions of Colonial
Architecture.
Most notable is the "Basilica
Lateranense" from 18th century which is of roman gothic design. The
artistic traditions are shaped into items such as handcrafts, rustic
colonial furniture, stonecutting, ceramics and cornhusk ornaments.
We will be back
to the road after the visit to this fascinating and interesting
place toward back to Puerto Vallarta. In the way back just relax or
watch along the road the mountains of the Sierra Madre as well as
miles and miles of forest, agriculture and excellent
views.
