First off, the phone system here in Puerto Vallarta changed, so a lot of phone numbers won't work the same way any more. For instance: A phone number that was written like this:

now needs a 22 in front, to make it a 7-digit number. So,

3-12-34

becomes

223-12-34

Got that? That's for local calls and for cell phones you should dial:

044-322-223-12-34

The rest is pretty simple: Puerto Vallarta's' area code is 322. When calling long distance from inside Mexico, dial (01) this first. For instance:

322-223-12-34

Mexico's Country Code is 52. When calling from outside the Mexico, you need to dial this first, then the area code, then the number. Like so:

52-322-223-12-34
