Los cabos by night is very different by day, during the day is a quiet city, starting before dawn for all of the sport fishermen, and transforms after dark to create a very unique nightlife like no other in Mexico. At night you will virtually be looking at a completely different city, offering a lively atmosphere of night clubs, bars & exotic clubs.

Los cabos offers great nightlife and much of it is often right in your own hotel. But you´ll naturally want to see what else there is.

CABO WABO.- Guerrero street, downtown in Cabo San Lucas. A dance hall and bar where every night is a party. DJ and live music. Under-age (18) customer served on the veranda. Snack and souvenir shop. Open noon to sunrise.

EL SQUID ROE.- Marina Blvd. Like most Anderson branches, a fun spot (some would say wild) after sunset. The most popular bar in Cabo San Lucas with hot dancing to loud music. Closes at 3 a.m.

LUKAS DISCO.- Marina Plaza, by the harbor, downtown. An modern upscale disco with giant TV screen and several monitors. Destined to be the spot for the “beautiful people”. Singles bar, light and sound show at 11 p.m. It’s part of a complex of fine restaurants and shops. Open 9 p.m. to dawn.

HARD ROCK CAFE.- There's plenty of glitz at the Hard Rock Café, located in Plaza Bonita. It has live music almost every night with a '70's, '80's and 90's playlist. Accented with plenty of brass and wood with a classic feel, it's a great party spot adding a touch of glamour to the local club scene.

RIO GRILL.- Marina Blvd. 31-A. A popular spot to meet and mingle. Bar opens at 2 p.m. and dinner is served 6 p.m. to mid-night. One of Cabo San Lucas’ hottest hot spots.

THE GRIGGLING MARLIN.- Marina Blvd, Cabo San Lucas. Its bar is among the most popular in the area with tourists and locals. There’s usually live music and lots of dancing. Good tropical drinks. If you go out only once, come here.

THE WALE WATCHER´S BAR.- Finisterra hotel. Enjoy a breathtaking ocean view of Los Cabos, mariachi music, outdoor fireplace, and whale watching during the migrating season.

KOKOMO.- A spacious, airy club with a great view of the marina. Kokomo's has a large dance floor with friendly waiters and good service and is open late, late, late. Check out the great tacos and quesadillas out front at Kokomo's popular Shark Bar, where people watching on Boulevard Marina is unbeatable.

In San Jose del Cabo there is not much of a nightlife and you rather want to drive to San Lucas where you will find dozens of bars and clubs of any kind.

ECLIPSE.- Blvd. Mijares. A casual setting for San Jose's newest nightspot, with music, dancing and the ubiquitous video screen.

IGUANA BAR & RESTAURANT.- Blvd. Mijares 24.- A party atmosphere prevails after 10 p.m. DJ on duty weeknights. Live music on weekends. A popular fun place. Closes at 1 a.m.
